WESTWOOD, CA — May 23, 2025 — Born in the DIY corners of the UCLA’s punk scene, Lady Vengeance storms onto the stage with their debut self-titled EP Lady Vengeance. Out May 23rd, 2025, the EP features five tracks, including fan favorite singles like “Clone Wars” and “Sweetface,” alongside three new tracks that push even further into the punk-rock world.
With a sound that blends gritty, grungy bass, sharp guitar riffs, and guttural unfiltered vocals, Lady Vengeance captures the band’s full range from their emotional ballad to the classic anthemic punk tracks that demand l to be screamed along. The singles offered a glimpse at Lady Vengeance’s capabilities, but the full EP dives deeper, unpacking new textures, moods, and risks that may catch listeners off guard. It’s bold, raw, and relentlessly loud.
In the EP, the band delivers raw emotion at full volume, track after track. From searing, gut-punching lyrics of “Punching Bag” to the genre-bending, rhythm-driven energy of “Cowboy Time,” the band proves they’re not afraid to push the boundaries of punk.
Lead guitarist Kate shared her excitement for the EP’s release. “The band has worked so hard on writing songs and playing shows, and I’m proud of all we’ve accomplished together. We've come so far as a group, and it’s nice to have musical proof of that.”
There’s something in Lady Vengeance for everyone. The distorted pull of “Dayquil,” the beloved riotous punk track “Clone Wars,” the haunting softness hidden between the lines—it’s a body of work made for late-night walks, mosh pits, and every messy moment in between.
The focus track, “Punching Bag,” is a song that perfectly captures Lady Vengeance’s ability to capture one of their classic songs played live into a studio recording.
Lady Vengeance releases on May 23, 2025, on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
